[Having not expect any gifts for the holidays, it's a pleasant surprise to find that one has been delivered to his room at the Valentia! Upon unwrapping it and finding it to be chocolates in the form of cute little cages, he has to smile to himself, a soft chuckle escaping as well. While he may not typically consume food the normal way, he makes an exception for these after appropriately admiring them for some minutes.
The taste is... different. Clearly not done by a professional, but the fact there's been a lot of effort put into them makes it worthwhile. After all, he's had emergency rations before which could've passed for newspaper. Don't ask how he knows what newspaper tastes like.
While not the finest meal he's ever had, he diligently and happily treats himself to every single chocolate over the coming days, all the while keeping the kind goddess in his heart. A very merry Christmas, indeed!]
